I know I already posted once today but I can’t help it I’m in a cooking mood! This Recipe is named “The best chicken ever”, I found this recipe appealing because of the ingredient count (5)! The less ingredient’s the easier it sounds to make not to mention CHEAPER (College students dream). I kinda hate those blogs where the blogger just writes and writes and writes, like I don’t care just give me the recipe and your recomendations and be done with it! (I know at some point that will be me, but not yet!)
- Start by preheating the oven to 425 degrees F
- In a small bowl mix together- 1/4 a cup of Dijon Mustard (again a household item used for many different recipes), 2 TBSP of Maple Syrup, 1/2 TBSP of Red Wine Vinegar (Vinegar lasts a long time and red wine vinegar is very versatile one of my favorite salad dressing uses red wine vinegar (I will post it at some point)).
- Next line a baking dish with foil (I used a 8×12 pan but I don’t think it matters as long as the breasts fit)
- Put the chicken breasts in (2), and sprinkle them with a little salt and lots of pepper, then pour the mustard mixture over the chicken and pop it in the oven for 30-40 minutes
My dad said this chicken was very tasty, tender, and so good that he is going back for seconds! Personally I didn’t think it was the best chicken ever it but it was good! It definitely is more dijjony than sweet. you’ll have to try it and tell me! the one good thing was it was super easy! xo, Hailey
